| Partnership Programme The key factor in PSS’s software product development and marketing strategy is our Partnership Programme where we work closely with one or more organisations that influence or control the market for the product. Examples include: PARS. We were market leaders in software for managing deaf clinics; but have subsequently sold our interest. Over 40 hospitals use the system that was developed in partnership with the Institute of Hearing Research and the Medical Research Council. Used in 20 "First Wave" hospitals for the research project into the NHS resourcing needs for the provision of digital hearing aids. PAMKIT. We were market leaders in software for evaluating, planning and managing new housing projects. 160 of the 200 ‘developing’ housing associations purchased this system which was developed in partnership with the National Federation of Housing Associations who subsequently bought our interest. PlaySafe. We are market leaders in software for managing playgrounds. Designed and developed in partnership with the National Playing Fields Association and four Local Authorities (Basingstoke & Deane, Cardiff, Norwich and Wandsworth) over 100 Local Authorities are currently using PlaySafe, which comes highly recommended: • endorsed by the Institute of Leisure & Amenity Management • endorsed by the Association of Play Industries • commended by the Health & Safety Executive • approved and used by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents Room Service. We were market leaders in software for managing student accommodation and conferencing for universities. Developed with Greenwich University. Users include Aberdeen, Bath, Bradford, Central England, Hertfordshire, Glasgow, Greenwich, Hull, Lancaster, North London, Paisley, South Bank and Ulster. We subsequently sold our interest to Capita plc. |
