StaySafe is the complete asset management system for managing all your assets. Increasing workloads, evolving inspection standards and tightening regulations mean Local Authority expertise has to cover everything: abandoned cars, arboriculture, ASBOs, buildings, cemeteries, cleansing, grounds maintenance, fly-tipping, highways & pavements, leisure centres, playgrounds, street furniture, water safety... the list is almost endless.

Management of these functions to avoid major administrative headaches and provide a "defendable position" can initially seem insurmountable. That's where we can help. Public Sector Software offers a fully integrated asset management solution to manage the lot!

StaySafe can be used via a Pocket PC for onsite recording of inspections. Inspections, findings, tasks and photos are uploaded to the main database through a quick synchronisation process. Data analysis and task management, rather than data input, can take top priority either via the desktop system or on the PDA.

The latest benefits included a fully integrated stock management system to enable the management of all goods in and out plus the transfer of costs for labour and materials to tasks. A new online finding recording system, which links to the main database automatically, enables the reporting of ad-hoc findings will enable you to extend the usage of StaySafe throughout your Local Authority.

Community Safety

In the light of the ever-increasing problems local authorities face in relation to anti-social behaviour and vandalism, Public Sector Software have worked with Central Division (Mid Bedfordshire) Bedfordshire Police to add a community safety checklist to StaySafe , allowing for the recording of incidents such as broken glass, excessive litter, dog fouling, drug needles, abandoned cars, untaxed cars, fly-tipping, nuisance youths, graffiti and fly-posting.

Tracking and analysis of information especially in conjunction with community safety wardens or the local police force can be invaluable in taking pro-active steps towards identifying "hotspots", reducing anti-social activities and maintaining a more pleasant environment for the whole community.

Leisure Centres

Stratford District Council use StaySafe to look after their leisure centre assets. Leisure centres require maintenance and cleanliness checks that can be carried out quickly and effectively to ensure the desired standards are being met and safety is maintained.

Water Safety Checks

Wolverhampton City Council required a more structured approach to their water safety inspection checks. Using RoSPA's water safety guidelines, we created a brand new checklist group with cross-referenced findings and tasks to ensure that a fully audited inspections system could be maintained.
