Public Sector Software Introduction to Risk Benefit Assessment

Risk benefit assessment is a relatively new approach to managing risk in a play setting. Play is so much more complicated than ‘that is the risk we need to reduce or eliminate it’ – it is a totally different ball game! In workplace settings, hazards rarely have any benefits but in a play setting exposure to the risk is itself a benefit. This course is designed to explore this technique and introduce methods for implementing it.

The course is suitable for managers and health and safety advisers who will be required to undertake the assessments. The course will be delivered as a theory session but may include a practical site visit as appropriate.
